Who Am I? is the classic guessing game where you work out a secret character or word by asking yes or no questions, now running in your phone browser. It comes with two very different ways to play, one with the phone on your forehead and one acting things out in front of the group, so it never gets repetitive.
Every game takes 2 to 15 players and runs straight from the browser, with no download and no sign up. It works for a small hangout or for a big group taking turns.
- The group types in the names, picks the game mode and sets how long each turn lasts.
- A player takes their turn and the secret word they have to guess or act out shows up on screen.
- In Questions mode, that person holds the phone against their forehead without looking at the screen while everyone else reads the word and answers their questions with yes or no.
- In Charades mode, one player holds the phone, reads the word in private and acts it out without speaking. A second player is picked to guess the word only from those gestures, so the two of them work as a pair.
- When the turn runs out of time, the game moves on to the next player automatically.
- Once the full round is over, whoever racked up the most correct answers wins.
Questions
The player whose turn it is holds the phone against their forehead without seeing the screen and asks the rest of the group yes or no questions to work out which character or word they got.
Charades
One player holds the phone, reads the word in private and acts it out without speaking and without making any sounds. A second player is the one picked to guess from those gestures. The two of them work as a pair, not the whole group.
Game settings
Before starting, the settings screen lets you tune every detail of the game.
Players
This is where you type in the names of everyone playing, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 15. You can add or remove players from that same screen.
Game Mode
Pick between Questions, with the phone on your forehead, or Charades, acting the word out without speaking. Each mode comes with its own explanation on screen before you confirm.
Time per Turn
Sets how many seconds each player gets to guess or act before the turn moves on to the next one automatically.
Categories
Picks which topics the words come from. With no category selected, the game uses all of them at random, which is handy when you would rather not decide up front.
Content by Country
When it is available, it adds words made for one country in particular, with characters and references from that culture, mixed in with the general ones.

What is the difference between Questions mode and Charades mode?
In Questions, whoever has the turn holds the phone on their forehead and guesses by asking the group yes or no questions. In Charades, one player sees the word and acts it out without speaking so that a second picked player guesses it, and the two of them work as a pair.
Can two people play on their own?
